This is me
Hello! I’m Bella, a UX Designer based in Boston. I first found my love for UX design working as a QA intern the summer after graduating high school. While I hadn't yet learned the terminology, I would often find myself asking the designer why the search feature I was testing worked the way it did. I even gave a suggestion on how I would improve it to make it easier to understand. It wasn’t until my upcoming years studying Information Science at Cornell University that I would learn what “UX” was. After graduating with a concentration in User Experience and Digital Culture and Production, I have been seeking opportunities to deeply understand those I work with and design for to create meaningful, practical experiences.

My Superpower: Unafraid to ask questions
I love asking questions to get to the root of how people think and understand the world. No matter who I'm talking to - a PM, an engineer, a user, or even in my personal relationships - I'm always asking "why?" or "what did you mean by that?". Questions are a powerful way to create an open conversation where both sides work to understand each other through active listening.

Crowd-Sourced Fun Fact: I worked in a corn maze in high school.
My job was literally to find people who were lost in a maze and help them get out. I think that's where my passion for helping people navigate their problem and finding the best solution for them comes from.

In my free time, I love going cafe hopping, reading a book in a park, or just going for a walk and letting my environment guide me to my next destination.
